design / THE EDITWHEN AN OBJECT CAN CHANGE JOBS.
A Vitra cork stool, because a room needs one unnecessary low thing.
It is a seat, a side table, and a small argument for objects that can change jobs.
The object I want is the Vitra Cork Family stool, not because I need another seat but because it has the proportions of a quiet joke. It looks like a stopper enlarged into furniture. It can hold a book, a glass, a tired person, or absolutely nothing.
The attraction is not the specification. It is the permission to move an object around without giving it a permanent identity.
